Brother brings six new inkjet multifunction devices for home users

Brother printer has expanded its portfolio of five ink multifunction device for small office and home use. The models DCP-195C, DCP-365CN and DCP-395CN can print, scan and copy. The MFC-255CW variants, MFC-295CN and MFC-795CW also come with an integrated 33.6 Kbps fax unit with a call number memory for 100 contacts with two numbers.
The top model MFC-795CW prints according to the manufacturer up to 35 pages per minute in monochrome and up to 28 in color. It has four separate ink cartridges. The maximum print resolution is 6000 x 1200 dpi.
The integrated optical color scanner works with up to times 2400 1200 dpi at 36 bit color depth (interpolated: 19,200 times 19,200 dpi). It supports scan to e-mail, text, file and image. Produces copies of the device with 1200 times to 1200 dpi. Templates can be infinitely variable from 25 to 400 percent zoom in or out.
Copying and faxing is possible without a PC. The same applies to the printing of digital cameras with PictBridge support, USB drives and memory cards. It is operated by means of a 5-inch color touch screen.
The MFC-795CW handles paper sizes up to A4 with weights from 64 to 220 grams per square meter. The integrated paper tray holds 100 sheets. There is also a photo paper tray for up to 20 pages. The ADF takes a maximum of 15 sheets.
Except via the USB can Mulifunktionsgerat via Fast Ethernet or Wi-Fi (802.11b / g) to connect to the computer. The wireless connection supports encryption standards WEP, WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK.
